Join Hannibal Regional Hospital Foundation for the 17th Annual Hannibal Cannibal and Fun Run on Saturday, July 7th. The 10K / 5K run and leisure walk begins at 7:00 am (rain or shine). The Fun Run for children 10 and under will begin at approximately 9:00 am following the Hannibal Cannibal. Online registration is available at hannibalcannibal.com.

This year, the Hannibal Regional Hospital Foundation is teaming up with Hannibal Wal-Mart to offer a contest for participants who pre-register by July 4th.  Hannibal Cannibal participants will have a chance to win an iPod Touch and children in the Fun Run are eligible to win a bicycle, both donated by the Hannibal Wal-Mart.  To be eligible for the drawing, participants must pre-register by July 4th.  The winners, to be drawn at random,  will be announced immediately after the Hannibal Cannibal. 

The entry fee is $20 per person through June 24th, $25 per person June 25th through July 4th and $30 per person July 5th until race day. The entry fee for the Fun Run is $15 per child. All entrants will receive a t-shirt and race bag filled with various items.

Registration forms can be picked up at the Hannibal Regional Hospital Foundation office located at 175 Shinn Lane, the Information Desk at Hannibal Regional Hospital and KHMO and KICK-FM studios in Hannibal and Quincy.  You can also register online at hannibalcannibal.com until midnight on July 4th.  

In 2011, over 1900 runners and walkers participated in the Hannibal Cannibal and this year even more are expected.  For more information, please call the Hannibal Regional Hospital Foundation office at 573-629-3577 or visit hannibalcannibal.com.  All proceeds from the race benefit the Hannibal Regional Hospital Foundation’s Heart to Heart campaign.
