Hevel Recognized For His Years Of Service
David Hevel, Vice President–Quality of Hannibal Regional Hospital, was recently recognized for his years of service during a retirement reception held in his honor on January 26, 2012. Mr. Hevel served as a team member of the organization for twelve years.
“David’s work over the years has reflected outstanding commitment to the hospital, patients and the families we take care of each day,” stated John C. Grossmeier, President/CEO–Hannibal Regional Healthcare System. “David has consistently demonstrated his effectiveness and skills by guiding the development of Hannibal Regional Hospital’s Quality program. The result of his work has made improvements organization wide.”
Mr. Hevel has more than 29 years of experience in training and development including public and industrial education, management development, quality system design, quality system auditing, organizational development interventions, and instructional design and implementation. Mr. Hevel joined the Hannibal Regional Hospital team in 1999 as the Director-Organizational Development. In 2003 his role transitioned to include the responsibility of Education. As the organization continued to grow and the commitment to developing an integrated Quality program became a top priority, Mr. Hevel was appointed the Vice President–Quality. Since 2004, he has provided oversight to Social Services, the Medical Staff Office, Utilization Management and Quality Management.
“Dave has been a true asset to the organization and has touched many lives of team members and patients as he has so enthusiastically discharged his duties,” stated Lynn Olson, President/CEO of Hannibal Regional Hospital. “The organization will continue to benefit from the foundation Dave has laid, with respect to quality improvement, for years to come. We all wish to extend our gratitude and thanks for his years of service.”
