Physical Therapy is devoted to working with patients to rehabilitate and prevent movement dysfunction or disability caused by illness, injury or other causes. In addition, licensed therapists work with patients to relieve pain, promote healing, and restore functional abilities, to enable them to adjust to any temporary or permanent physical changes. The therapists address problems affecting the foot, ankle, hip, knee, shoulder, hand and spine. They apply both surgical and non-surgical methods to treat orthopedic conditions.
