Support Groups

  • Breastfeeding Support Group  The Breastfeeding Support Group provides an opportunity to enjoy the support and suggestions of other breastfeeding mothers, get questions answered and check your baby's weight. One of our board certified lactation consultants or breastfeeding educators will be there to help answer questions. The group meets twice each week in the OB Classroom at Hannibal Regional Hospital:  Monday evenings at 5 pm and Wednesday mornings at 10 am.  The group is free and no registration is needed. Siblings of the baby are welcome too!  For questions call 573-248-5161.

  • Cancer Support Group  When dealing with the stress and emotional impact of illness, caring for a loved one, or the loss of somebody close to you seems too much to handle, turn to us for support. Our support group allows patients, friends and family members an opportunity to discuss the ways they are managing their illness or loss, and a place to share the feelings that accompany that experience. The Cancer Support Group meets on the third Monday of the month at noon in the James E. Cary Cancer Center. 573-406-5812 

  • Diabetes Support Group  The Diabetes Support Group provides an opportunity for those affected by diabetes to discuss ways to manage and cope with the disease. The group meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 7 pm in Conference Room A/B located at Hannibal Regional Hospital.   • Sleep Disorders Support Group  The HRH Sleep Matters Group provides an opportunity for everyone to learn more about sleep apnea, how it affects our overall health and the treatment options available.The group meets every other month, with dates and times announced for each meeting.
