Knowing your risk factors for heart disease and taking action could help you decrease your your chance of developing heart disease in the first place. Take a moment to assess your risk factors below.

As you answer the questions, keep track of the number of your "yes" answers. The more times you answer "yes", the greater your chance of developing heart disease.
