DESCRIPTION:The James E. Cary Cancer Center, in conjunction with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, will be holding a Bereavement Support Group, open to any adult who has experienced the death, due to illness, of someone significant in their life. \n \nThe Bereavement Support Group will meet Thursday evenings, March 4 through April 8, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the James E. Cary Cancer Center, 5985 Hospital Drive, in Hannibal.\n \nEach session will include handouts to take home.  Topics are each are:\n\n    \n    Session One, "What is Normal Grief?"\n    \n    \n    Session Two, "Myths to Grief"\n    \n    \n    Session Three, "Feelings of Loss and Cliches of Grief"\n    \n    \n    Session Four, "Handling Holidays and Other Special Occasions"\n    \n    \n    Session Five, "The Six Needs of Mourning"\n    \n    \n    Session Six, "Helping Ourselves Heal"\n    \n    \n\nComplimentary light refreshments will be served.
